Show HN: Siram – Automate Watering Your Houseplants
siram.coBack in 2022, my wife and I went on a trip to Italy only to come back to dying houseplants. As smart home users, we thought it would be a great idea to build something to automate watering our houseplant and able to integrate with HomeKit or Matter and so we did.
I built a fancy Raspberry Pi setup with peristaltic pumps and capacitive soil moisture sensors. But it’s hard to beat a $5 terracotta cone called Blumat. [0]
