On the basis of its current base model’s quality, I would use Grok approximately never.
However, I actually do use it for maybe 1/25th of the interactions I have with generative AI, for a few specific use cases.
One is if there is a current event I see going around, or a meme being referenced, which I don’t get, or can’t find, the fact that it’s plugged into live X posts, and searches the internet, makes it actually very useful.
Then, regarding its relatively uncensored nature, if I have a question that gpt and claude are giving me the runaround on, or an image that gpt or midjourney refuse to attempt, grok is often willing
