One of the things Trump keeps going on about with the EU is VAT, which he seems to think is a tariff on imports.
Since it is likely impossible to get Trump to actually understand what VAT is, I wonder how hard it would be for the EU to repeal VAT and replace it with a "sales tax" that happens to actually work identically to the current VAT?
